Empowering Teachers with Essential Skills to Create Safe, Supportive Classrooms for Every Child
Goal: : Our mission is to train 500 teachers in effective lesson planning and mental health awareness, equipping
them to better support students of all abilities. To achieve this, we need to provide four schools with high- quality printers, scanners, teaching materials, and maintenance — at a cost of $15,000 to $20,000 per school. With a fundraising goal of $60,000, this investment will create lasting resources that will benefit teachers and
students for years to come.

Teacher training is a crucial step in ensuring that classrooms are not only educationally effective but also
supportive and safe, especially for children facing challenges at home. Well-structured lesson planning helps
teachers maintain control, ensure clarity, and keep students engaged, which is vital in helping them succeed
academically. However, equally important is training teachers to understand and address the mental health
and emotional needs of their students. Research, including findings from the Global Partnership for Education, shows that when teachers are equipped with skills to manage both lesson content and students’ well-being, they can create classrooms where children feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
