The Suisse School Project
2024/25

Limited classroom space and poor infrastructure restrict thousands of children from accessing quality education in Iraq. (Unicef)

Achievement: Our goal was to renovate and expand The Suisse School, increasing its student
capacity and improving learning conditions.

Why this matters?

Many schools in Iraq operate in overcrowded, deteriorating buildings, limiting the number of students they can accommodate. Before EduMove’s intervention, The Suisse School had only 9 classrooms and could support 700 students. The lack of space forced students into overcrowded conditions or left many without access to education.

By renovating and expanding the school, we’ve created additional classrooms, improved facilities, and increased student capacity to 1,200, allowing more children to enroll and receive quality education in a safe and structured environment.

Thank You to Our Generous Donors!

Because of your kindness and generosity, The Suisse School has been transformed into a thriving learning environment, giving 1,200 students the opportunity to learn in safe, well-equipped classrooms.
