Health check-ups, including medical and dental screenings, are essential for students’ well-being and academic success. Early detection of health issues allows for timely interventions that prevent more severe problems in the future. For many students, these check-ups may be their first opportunity to receive medical attention, making it crucial to also educate them on health practices that will serve them for life. Alongside physical care, educating students about health, hygiene, and dental care is crucial for developing lifelong habits that can prevent future health problems.

According to UNICEF, children who are healthy are better equipped to succeed in school and life. When students have access to routine health care, their concentration improves, and they are more likely to engage in school activities. The World Health Organization also highlights that teaching children good health practices can have long-lasting benefits, promoting healthier generations.
